Everyone is somehow dependant on gadgets. They have transformed our lives brilliantly. The most addicting gadget right now is the cellphone. It has connected us to the world. With a single button we can listen music, click photos & videos and the most important-communicate with others. Nokia has emerged as the biggest brand in mobile market, which wee all know. Since this is my first post I’ll talk about my Nokia phone. The Nokia 6233 which I have owned for over an year now. Here is a detailed review of it.

Nokia 6233( upto 2gb memory, 2mp cam, 3g, java, mp3)

The Body- its body is hard & durable. Made up of stainless steel. But still it is not very bulky & its thickness is around 15mm. Its smaller than Nokia N72. I have used it for so many months but still it survived many crashes. How it survived, I don’t know. All I know that Nokia has come up with a supermobile. That’s the term that best describes it. Its keypad is comfortable to use.

The Interface- It has a very very simple user interface. You will face no problems at all navigating to your files & folders. It uses a java platform. No symbian in this. So you can download only those softwares that support java. Earlier I thought that is one of its main drawback as I can’t download my favorite games but then later I found out that the Internet is filled with millions of java enabled softwares. I have downloaded lots of games, a dictionary, themes, screensavers & other applications. Visit Mobile9 to get the latest software for your cellphone.

The Camera- It has a superb 2MP camera that lets you take those memorable photos which you can treasure forever. With an 8X digital zoom you can get closer shots. But its video quality is not so good. It records in QVGA format. Plus it lacks autofocus & flashlight. But it didn’t bother me because I use it only when my sony digicam is not with me, which is very rare. So those who want an ultra high quality camera phone then this is not for you. I have uploaded two pics that i took with my 6233. Click on them to enlarge.

Music features- Its most striking feature is its music quality. Its just stupendous. Nokia has taken it at a top level. Its stereo headset lets you enjoy music whether its classic or pop or even hard rock. It also features a visual radio with an exceptional reception quality. With arrival of its music edition it has gained quite a lot of popularity.

Connectivity- It is a 3G phone. That means faster downloading time. It also contains Bluetooth v2.0 which is the latest till date ( as far as I know). It also has Infrared connectivity. You can connect it to your computes with its USB port.

Review Summary:

PROS: Durable body, easy interface, comfy keys, Music quality, 3G

CONS: Video quality

RATING: 9.5/10

Hope you all liked this review. My next post will be the review of my Sony Cybeshot W80. Thanks.
